ABOUT THE JOB:

Main Focus Area:

  • Plan, create, execute, and document maintenance schedules for the Calcination area that reflect actual repair needs to ensure cost-effective preventive maintenance.
  • Apply routine maintenance procedures and techniques, including the use of relevant software for clear and sustainable documentation (MS Office, SAP PM, MS Project, etc.).
  • Respond to alerts and operational messages – perform corrective procedures and repairs in accordance with SOPs and maintenance protocols.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and organize prompt repair of mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • Comply with national, regional, and local insurance regulations, rules, and guidelines to ensure safe and stable operation of equipment in the Calcination area.
  • Lead the mechanical maintenance team in the Calcination area and organize internal operations, making targeted use of available resources.
  • Guide and develop employees, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager with projects and cross-departmental tasks, and cover for other supervisors during vacation or illness.
  • Optimize maintenance costs through targeted use of materials and resources, and closely monitor and control the work of internal and external contractors.s.

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Completed training as a master craftsman or technician (or similar) in maintenance, and/or professional experience in maintenance or a similar position.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in transport and logistics, preferably in a comparable position.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in all other computer-based programs and/or systems required to perform the duties of this position. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
  • Team player with initiative, strong safety and quality awareness.
  • Ability to lead a team and organize/plan tasks.
  • Quick comprehension, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
  • Focused on finding long-term solutions and improvements.
  • Able to respond flexibly to new tasks and work independently and proactively within a team.
