One more milestone for Iwakuni: Safer, cleaner, and more resilient together.
Our Iwakuni plant took an important step forward with the completion of a new feedstock conveying system. At first, it may seem like a minor upgrade, moving bagged feedstock from the warehouse to the plant. But for our team, it has changed the daily routine in meaningful ways.
This process now takes only five minutes, down from 20. The increase in speed is but one way in which things have been improved. It also created a even safer workspace than before with less dust and physical effort, as well as a cleaner environment for everyone.
With this new system combined with our existing silo and transport, we can maintain stable production, secure jobs, and continue to deliver reliably to our customers, efficiently and effectively.
None of this would have been possible without the collaboration of our shareholders and partners, who brought their expertise and ingenuity to the table, and reminded us that our plant is part of a growing community to which we’re proud to contribute.
