Aluminum
Aluminum is difficult to polish, as it is soft and the melting temperature is low. Too high temperatures will change the lattice structure of the aluminum, which can have impacts on further processing of the aluminum. Therefore different strategies and aluminas have to be applied. Almatis offers varius grades to fullfil the customers needs.
GILOX-Series
Ground version of P 25 with top cut of 125µm.

Alumina with top cut of 56 µm for the finishing of all kinds of surfaces.

Special alumina with plate like 20 µm big primary crystal, which needs further processing prior use.
Special alumina with plate like 25 µm big primary crystal, which needs further processing prior use.
