REACh - Exemption for calcium aluminate products based on calcium aluminate clinker
In connection with the introduction of the REACh Directive on 1 June 2007, we would like to inform you about the classification of our calcium aluminate cements in terms of REACh.
All Almatis’ calcium aluminate cement products are based on calcium aluminate clinker. These clinker products are registered by the Chemical Abstract Service as cement (CAS No.: 65997-16-2) and are currently exempt from the obligation to register in accordance with Article 2 through their listing in Annex V of the REACh Directive. Therefore, calcium aluminate clinker does not need to be registered.
